"But I think we both know that there is no choice to make" I finished as the rain stopped abruptly leaving us with distant howling deep in the forest. My mind was made up. I've been told by many that I can be a very indecisive person. But this, this is definitely not something that I had to ponder for long. My decision had been made. I think, deep down, from the moment I laid eyes on him I knew. I am rejecting the Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack.

With a slight raise in my voice, I put my point across. "And whys that? If Tim wasn't born, I would be next in line for the Alpha's place" "I would give the title over to my brother, our Beta. I would not give the title and the pack over to my little girl!" Oh, I see where this is going, he doesn't think id be able to manage it. Right now I'm seething with rage. My voice again, going louder, with a growl added to it "So you don't think I'd be able to run this pack, because I'm a girl!" I look back at my dad, he's panting while holding back growls, his eyes go black, he's physically shaking trying to hold his wolf form back, he's claws come out, crushing the side of his desk. I carry on looking at him, head held high, I will make my point that I wont back down on this issue. My dad lifts his head and practically shouts so the whole pack can hear him. "The reason why you wont be Alpha is because of what happened the last time another Alpha stepped foot into my territory!"

"You started it Francis... come on pup don't start that with me... I don't have time for this! GO HOME!" I felt the command. I see the little 8 year old boy from last night run away crying, one of Ruby's cousins. When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.

All she wanted was a family and someone to love her, and thankfully the Alpha and his pack found it in their heart to love her the way that she deserved. "Are you going to ignore me the whole way back?" Night asked walking silently behind me, funny how the tables have turned. "You'd have to try to talk to me in order for me to ignore you" I say matter of factly. I heard a small scoff come from behind me. What the hell was his problem? Now all of a sudden he doesn't want to talk? I stood back up and started walking back, a Sigh was heard behind me but i kept walking. There was no point in trying to strike a conversation with night. Neither one of us knew what to say, and honestly I enjoyed the silence. It gave me time to think about everything. Follow the dog who was later named Alaska through her story. Will she be happy?
