Grace Landon has lost her sister and is on the hunt for her father who, she hopes, is still alive. On the way, she meets the dark and mysterious Michael "badass" Clifford. The two are extremely stubborn and only have their minds set on getting through the apocalypse, and possibly their feelings for one another. In the beginning it was a bug: a small stomach Virus at the very least.
Then it became the flu. People lined outside of hospitals and clinics with their small children of temperatures 103°. Talk about people bleeding out of their eyes, nose, and ears all at once began to spread.

That's when quarantine began.

Somehow people were dying and coming back to life, but as they woke they became violent.
Flesh eating violent.

I've seen enough TV and played plenty of video games to know what a zombie is.
Once you've seen what they can do to your loved ones though, they become more than just a zombie. They're monsters.

They've taken over.

This is the end of the world and there's nothing we can do about it.
