The World That Is Left

In the desolate world that is left for her, Laurie knows that life is about survival. Her main aim is to keep moving. She has no idea where she is going or what she is going to do when she gets there, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that she gets there sooner rather than later. Something that seems near impossible when a 6ft tall bumbling baffoon decides to attach himself to her like a limpet. He puts everything she has worked so hard to protect at risk. She isn't safe anymore. The world isn't safe anymore. And what's worse, time is running out.
