He stood before me with his hand outstretched waiting for me to take it, I was standing infront of the most handsome man that I have ever met and he was looking at me and only me. Man? No he wasn't a man. Sure he was male but he did not have the presence of a man, it was something stronger like the power of a god. The concept of this isn't too strange now was it? I myself wasn't human, my mother was a well renounced Oracle which was a being of lesser stature of that of a God or their kin, and my father was a first class demon making me a very powerful entity. Every moment that I ever shared with the God standing in front of me none of them prepared me for what was about to happen, none of it could have helped me take this step with him. He was well toned and had a very alluring ora, he wore a leather pants and a silky white shirt. His hair was shoulder length brown locks of hair that swayed gently in the wind. He smiled warmly at me keeping his hand outstretched waiting for me to take. I promised myself that I would be the one in charge of my own fate and no one was going to decide what I must it must not do. "Why are you so cold to me?" Lo asked. She didn't understand it. This should be a blessing to them both. Tristan stopped at the threshold of the door. She could see his muscular form tense, his large hands clenched at his sides. A thick silence followed; it was almost suffocating. Lo felt as if she couldn't breathe. "I'm no colder to you than any other." He spoke without turning back. Lo felt like her heart was being slowly crushed. "But... we are-" Lo fumbled with her words. "Enough. You are a child; you can't possibly understand the complications of our situation." Tristan growled as he spun around. His dark green eyes met her crystal blues with a fierce look. "I... I don't understand. My mother said you would cherish me from the moment we met... until our dying days." Lo said as she felt the hot tears start to drip down her cheeks. She knew she was young and naive, but she was no child. She was nearly grown. "She was wrong. I'm already mated; I will not abandon her. My father wants you dead. I shouldn't have stopped him." Tristan said with an icy tone as he turned and slammed the door on the way out. Lo could barely get her breath. She felt crushed, and it was more than emotional. It felt like he had just wounded her soul.
