So Daniel's under the impression that they either don't believe that they no longer live him and that they no longer want him in their lives anymore. So Daniel doesn't bother to try and find them. And since Daniel thinks that Grayson and everyone else hates him, he decides to date his killer Logan But his new boyfriend may love Daniel, but he doesn't respect him as a matter of fact he doesn't respect anyone except himself. He especially hates the fact that Daniel talks about Grayson a lot. So instead of asking him to stop, that's when it starts...that's when The Abusive Relationship starts.
