Lance was never part of the new paladins of Voltron. He was already was a paladin before any of them, before his people died and his sister was frozen.
He went missing during the galra attack on his home and people. Allura went in the cyro-pod thinking that she would never see her younger brother again.
Now after years Allura is awake and there are new paladins but one still remains missing, the blue. Along their way to stop the galra they search for a new blue paladin then after helping a planet fight against the galra, the paladins go to help free prisoners but what happens when the stumble upon one prisoner not quite like the rest?

Lol, first Klance! Hope you all enjoy! Keith has been haunted since he fought with the Druid. His hand... It just healed... That wasn't a normal thing. Then Zarkon... The emperor told Keith he fought similar to his Galran soldiers. That had honestly scared him. Damaged Beyond Repair
Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings. Keith, Hunk, Pidge, Shiro, Coran, and Allura are worried. With Keith stressing himself out over the wellbeing of his kidnapped friend, and Pidge looking all over for said friend, the paladins of Voltron are not on their best.
