Miyaki and Tomoko are best friends and have been since they were babies in the hospital. Now in starting their first week of 6th grade and finding out they're in the same class, the two decide to celebrate with sweets in the Garden City natural garden, when they meet two small fairies named Honeysuckle and Bud. After which, they are attacked by a member of the Black Rose Family, Barb and after bonding with the two fairies, they transform into the legendary warriors of flowers, Cure Hibiscus and Cure Lotus.
