Ever since Maeve's death, Dr. Spencer Reid has been diagnosed with Philophobia, Thantophobia, and severe Depression. He can't look at anything the same anymore. His emotions are numb. His social skills are declining. He wishes he never joined the FBI, so Maeve would still be alive.

A year later, he's still depressed, but a lot less. He starts to socialize with the team again, and then something happens..
