"All rise for Her Royal Highness Princess Contessa!" The crowd roared as the elegant red curtains were pulled back and revealed me. I smiled my brightest smile a waved eagerly to the people. 

My other hand rested at the side of my dusty pink gown and the crown on my head seemed to weigh a thousand pounds. But I shoved it all away, shoved it all down. I was a princess and princesses did not complain. 

So I kept smiling and blowing kisses an waving until my cheeks hurt and my arms were sore. I kept smiling because I Loved these people. The were my family, my everything. And I loved them.
