It's not easy being an alpha's daughter. Especially when you're the one taking over the pack once the alpha steps down. All the duties are passed on to you and being shamed by others.

But my story isn't all about Our Top Warrior's daughter making my school days hell but because of this pretty human boy transferring to our school.
When I say pretty, I mean really interesting because I most likely don't find humans attractive and my wolf went nuts when we first met. But as impossible as it is, HE'S NOT MY MATE. I find him attractive, my wolf does too but the pull and the connection isn't there.

That change tho.

Cradling his bloody face on my chest. This was the moment I felt the weakest. I felt useless. The smell of blood angered me knowing it was his. The rough feeling of the grass irritated me. I hungered with anger but I felt weak. I saw water drop onto his face and first I thought it was rain but it was only a tear.

His breathing uneven and heavy. Help wasn't coming, help couldn't see, help didn't know.

"You cannot die on me, you cannot go. Hold on Nate, be strong." I growled out. Giving him orders even if I knew it was nothing to him. No effect on him.

His face looked so fragile and lifeless. His eyes barely open. I know what's going to happen and I'm not ready for it. Nor was I ready to accept it.

His hands slowly grabbed my face, he was cold. Very cold. "I have to leave but I'll be back. I promise." he managed to breathe out.

I shook my head , pressing my forehead to his.
"Don't leave me. Not without ending this." I pleaded.

"I need to tell -" he breathes deeply. "Who I am."

Looking into his eyes. I felt confused and afraid. Who was he really? For the long time I've made feelings for him and knew him. I was always questioning who he was.
