Today the headline read "WebNet--How long can he hold out against the Blazing Badger?"

The Blazing Badger--a superhero that was one of Invocations (aka a person or people with powers)--seemed to have a new power every week--although his main ones included superhuman swimming, fire blasts, power blasts, turning non-living things into wood, and weird tail-shake thing that emulated flying, among others.

I was pretty confident, that despite what everyone though, that the villain, WebNet, actually had more than a chance against the Blazing Badger. His power set seemed to make him untouchable--superhuman speed, stealth (as long as he was not using any other power), acrobatics, webs, nets, and insane healing.

He was the worst nightmare of any cop after he caused the entire western part of the city's force to be wiped out.

Invocations tended to battle over territory--and their battles have been tearing city after city apart. Some even call the battles "wars". Some argue that a war would have caused less damage.
