All she wants is a second chance. 

When Maeve Murphy is given the opportunity to put her skills to good use, she must prove that she is able to change the American government's mind about her and get a few years taken off her prison sentence. Along the way she will encounter new friends, new enemies and a new love. 

[Warning: will contain swearing, slightly sexist content and harassment, as well as a little bit of smut. (That's the idea for now. I'm writing this as I go along!)]

*I love Captain Boomerang soooo much. I hope we see more of him in the future because Jai Courtney smashes the role!

*I've decided to set this after the events in the movie. I included El Diablo as I feel his character deserves a little more justice (and screen time because he was actually a potentially good character) and GQ Edwards. Dates may be a little off. 

*I don't own any of the characters in the story except Maeve and anyone else with a "*" beside their name in the cast list. The rest all belong to DC Comics.

*I'm also gonna make changes as I go along.

This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. Harley was thrown into prison leaving you with Mr. J, you had your time with him until you too were arrested. Being in the same prison cell with Harley was.... Difficult to say the least but you got to know the psycho just a bit better. You develop feelings for her feelings you had only felt for The Joker. Also the sequel is up so go check that out. (I won't be editing it since I feel like it shows how I've improved through each chapter, just be warned)

When a (in her opinion) satanic she-devil comes and ask for her help in trade for her freedom she jumps onto the opportunity to save the world.On this crazy quest she finds love, family, and betrayal.
