In the year 2020 Coulson's team is broken and S.H.I.E.L.D does not exist. Every past agent is either dead , a prisoner or in hiding. 

There are no attempts being made to rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D because the world is finally at peace. Basically everything is perfect... until a series of random terrigen attacks hits the city of new york and this leads to rise in crime rates and inhuman attacks... 

The country soon after heads for some much less than perfect and Coulson realises what must be done...
Will it be easy?
