Cassidy Reynolds is a woman broken but mended, hurt but fine and maybe a tad bit cold. After becoming a teacher, she aims to live her life day to day- constantly watching her back for the men in white coats wanting her back into the, 'Laboratory'. But once she's told of their plots by a very attractive Demos Clarke, can she stay quiet?

Demos Clarke is an enigma to Cassidy, cold but oh-so delightfully warm and very much forbidden. Especially to her. With the ever present threat of capture hanging over her head, one too many lessons to plan and a man hell bent on wiggling his way into her life at its most stressful point- can she resist him?
