The feared and respected Sar'Lentha Assassins are known throughout the realm of Firebrand.  As whispers that speak in the dead of night and the blades that strike when darkness falls. But there's a problem, their members are dropping like flies and the dreaded assassins are loosing their grip on Firebrand,  even the dragons that fight by their side are worried. They need new recruits.  And they need them fast.

In this land racked with the slow death of their new queen, nobody misses a coin or two once in a while and for a young but very talented thief like Rita, life can be easy. But when a sudden wrong turn in a seemingly easy heist winds up with her coming face to face with the deadliest group of assassins in history...


The lines between the worlds as slipping, rubbed out one by one, ancient rulers with their names written on the fabric of time are stirring in the deep and the Gods quarrel between themselves.  The armies are massing and there is nothing that can be done to stop them, scales and swords will make fur fly and sparks shoot like arrows in the night. The shadows move and take shape, and blades in the dark will rule....

Assassination, war, greed, power, manipulation. Some of the things that occur throughout history can be caused by any number of factors. Many people would often sabotage others to fuel their own desires and others would kill to get the things that they want. Regardless of whoever it was that did these things or what their real goals are, evilness is often a rather dark and dangerous thing. Those in higher positions, such as kings or leaders, often try to fool their people into believing they are doing the right thing but in reality, they are lying and only helping themselves regardless if they are Humans, Angels, Devils, or Fallen Angels. One group that is known for their assassination skills is known as Night Raid. This group of skilled assassins is renowned to be rather notorious for killing their targets without any issues. Not much is known about their members but for those who happen to be their targets, their deaths are often swift. Their only targets were humans at first but they have expanded their range to killing Devils, Angels, Fallen Angels, and other mythical creatures after a certain new member joined them. Not much is known about their new member as his partner is known as Tyrant, the Dragon of Evolution. He fought against numerous enemies of all races including dragons. When he fought against Ddraig and Albion, their battle drastically changed the layout of the world and nearly ended several races. However, their battle was interrupted as they were sealed away into Sacred Gears where they waited for their partners. Now that Tyrant has found him and has finally returned, how will this affect the world? Will this lead to another war, or will this cause the extinction of all races?

"Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

Due to this she was constantly hunted and still is, however, always escapes. She is impossible to defeat due to her strength and magic, especially her strange ability that permanently gives her the powers and abilities of anyone she get's close enough to. Wanting nothing but to please her father, Skye obeys his every command. Once when she was young she joined a guild called Fairy Tail. She loved it there but her father did not approve of her in a guild other than a dark one that worshiped him called Shadow Fang. She forced her to burn the mark and claw it so deep gashes formed over it and would eventually scar. It didn't take long for Skye to finally decide to break away from her father and be her own person. Using transformation magic she changed her appearance and lived on her own. She promised Igneel and the other dragons that she would protect the dragon slayers with her life and planned to keep in. She found them with a special necklace that was from Igneel that would glow whenever she was near a first, second, or third generation slayer or near a dragon. It also helped keep her darkness contained and help her control her powers. She kept contact with the dragons with a small lacrima that Igneel also gave her.
