He tangled his hand in the tips of my hair and rested his chin on the top of my head, "You don't always have to be so strong, you know."
I pulled my head back to look up at him. My eyes roamed around his facial features one by one until finally he leaned down and kissed my lips.

Sophia Belle is quiet and laid back, mostly known to be the level headed one in tight situations. Once she is asked to tutor a boy she's went to school with her life yet never even spoke to, she has to learn to be a little pushy. Cameron thinks he can hide his one little secret, but Sophia is a smart girl. She has the glasses and the straight A's to prove it.
Once Sophia and Cameron have their differences settled, new problems rise. Will they both be able to live up to the problems they have innocently come across? From basketball games, library games, and siblings hugs, these two try so hard to stay together until the end. But will they make it? Or will distance tear them apart?

#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. UNEDITED Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path. Those are the words that Justin McCallister has been repeating in his mind since the day he was diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumour that's been causing partial seizures for the past five years of his life. Partial seizures that can't seem to be controlled by every epileptic medication he takes. It's caused him to push everyone away. He refuses to become friends with anyone because he knows, from personal experience, that they're eventually going to leave him behind due to his circumstances. He knows that no matter where someone stands in your life, be it family members or friends, they will find a way to stab you in the back. And after experiencing the divorce and complicated situation his parents went through, he's determined to avoid girls because he believes love is foolish and volatile. Bring Adelaide "Addie" Levesque into the picture. She's a smart, beautiful girl that has a strong sense of direction, knows where she belongs, and wishes that she could have an epic love story like the one her parents share. But beneath her confidence, she's scared. She doesn't know what she wants to do after high school and it scares her. On top of that, none of the boys can't seem to understand her for who she is. Everything changes when they meet. Addie finds the situation to be painfully cliche, but she can't help but be curious about the new boy in her class. She wants to know why he keeps his hood up and earbuds in during lectures. Justin knows he should stay away from her, but there's something about her that begs for his attention. She's sweet and charming, but the problem is, he doesn't want to delve deep into his past with her. He doesn't want to reveal the ugly truth about who he is beneath the act. As Justin and Addie go through their final year of high school, the realize you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
