Michael Harper is kind of a loser. He lives in a crappy apartment, got fired from his job and his girlfriend left him. Lucky for him his life is going to change. On the eve of his sister's wedding Michael starts seeing things. Then Michael is introduced into a world he never knew existed. The world of the Void Walkers. Along the way he is taken under the wing of Kevin, a void walker who reveals a prophesy. Will Michael embrace his ability or run away? Is he the one?
