That was until Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, reveals himself as a traitor, having lied about all his intentions. He had never cared about the others, but was merely acting. *Lying*. He was an Ultimate Despair, second to that of Junko Enoshima. But is that really the truth of the matter? A/N Hey, so I came up with this idea a long time ago, and I just decided to write it because I don't have much else to do. It's just a 'what if' scenario if Kokichi had been a Remnant of Despair, really. There might be some shippy stuff, I don't really know. (This is a sequel to Danganronpa: Darkened Hope. I recommend that you read Darkened Hope if you haven't already, both to avoid spoilers for that story, and to contextualize this one.) Another killing game.... another bunch of students.... another story of murder and betrayal and deceit.... But this time.... Something's different. When Benshirou Kuwahara woke up in the courtyard behind a mansion, he didn't know what to expect. At first glance, it appeared he was being held hostage with fifteen other students with exceptional talent in certain skills, somewhat like himself. But the truth was much more horrifying than just a simple kidnapping. Monokuma, the supposed landlord of "Despairblood Manor," as he called it, was nothing but sadistic and cruel. To escape, one must murder. With this one simple rule in place, everyone's lives are in danger. What will become of the Ultimates residing in the mansion? How many will die? How many will survive? Will they ever know the answers to these questions, or will the bloodshed keep on going?
