(This is my own AU.)
It's when the main monsters (except Toriel) have fused with one of the human souls. Asgore had successfully killed Frisk and taken their soul for himself. When the monsters return to the surface, some like Asgore, start killing off people because the power if his soul has driven him insane. Others, like Sans try to protect the people. This story follows Marshel, a half human half monster. Trying to survive in the hell he calls home

Many years have passed since the war between the humans and monsters. The humans won, and shut the monsters in a place called the underground. Keeping them there with a magical barrier, it took seven usable souls to shatter the barrier, but being monsters, their souls didn't work. Instead, they had to use human souls to break the barrier, and even then, humans were not likely to fall in. Because the human waste system ends up in the underground, the monsters are informed of what's going on up on the surface, and have developed human-like lifestyles, which included scholarship, friendships and the like, but it seemed, that the monsters were eager to get back on the surface again. Six humans were unlucky enough to fall into the underground, and the leader of the monsters, Asgore Dreemurr killed these humans to use their souls for removing the barrier. Asgore thought that those humans were the only ones that would fall in, but he was wrong. Two more humans fell in, but their souls were lost before Asgore could even use them, and those soulless ghosts were doomed to haunt the underground. Now playing the waiting game, Asgore patiently waited another human to fall, and fall it would. (Sorry! No Muffet or Grillby in this one!)Complete

But for Chara and Clover, first their fates weaved together, now are separated. In a moment of desperation, something new is discovered. Two people sharing a soul...? Upon the revolution on Chara being able to "Swap Places" with Frisk, it seems Clover and Chara will finally arrive at their happy ending. But, of course, that is right when fate strikes...Complete
