Mackenzie Ziegler is young, free, and only 17. She attends her local high school along with her best friends Lauren, Brynn- and of course Johnny, her best friend.

Johnny makes her laugh more than anybody else can; including her girl friends, and whenever her disastrous home life gets in the way of her being her, he's the one thats there to tell her everything will be alright.

After years of feeling like no guy is right for her, Mackenzie decides that this year will be the year she meets a guy- no more shy, girly Mackenzie.

When a drunken night between Johnny and Mackenzie leads to them to falling into bed together, will mackenzie's feelings change?
