Jessica Evans was forced on her own, slaving away in despair to a belittling, pride destroying job that she took no pride in. Meeting a mystery man, he sweeps her away. There was music all around her, but with the screaming thoughts that haunted her brain, it was all too loud to hear.
The melody, the words, and the heartbeat of music was the key to the soul and he brought out the colorful world locked within her. He made her realize that when you wish upon a star, dreams can come true.
But was it enough?

Through her ongoing bliss, it would seem impossible to run away from her past of abuse, exposure, sadness, and pain. Some things she just couldn't hide or run away from. Some things that even his voice couldn't fix would linger on like a shadow.
