Patrick is a seventeen year old who has a crush on this one girl named Fiona Kate. But Patrick beats himself up about it because he thinks he's worthless. He gets bullied at school and gets told to kill him self just because he's "different". He spent most of his miserable high school days hurting himself cause he knows he'll never fit in and get the girl he wants. 

Patrick makes a friend named Pete and they become best buds. But Patrick doesn't know that Pete has a crush on him. He tells Pete that he has a crush on a girl and Pete decides to help Patrick get the girl, even if it means losing him. Through the time that Pete and Patrick spend together they get closer and Patrick starts to feel "some sort of affection for him, but he doesn't quite understand why or how. 

One school day something terrible happened and Patrick wanted to end everything. His father finds him in the bathroom almost half dead. After Patrick recovers his father sends him to a summer camp about 60 miles from home. Pete goes with him to make sure he's okay. When Patrick gets there, it's just like school. The same kids from school were there and they bullied him. He tried to commit suicide but something amazing saved him.All Rights Reserved

One day Patrick stump the lead singer of his favourite band turns up to adopt and ends up adopting him.
