As a theatre kid myself, I can literally relate to some of this.
Meet Cassandra Benedict, the seventeen year old theatre nerd with a dream to one day rock the stage on Broadway. Always being cast as the biggest character role, she hopes to go out with a bang on her last show until college, but it takes an unexpected turn as she is cast as the main love interest with an interesting boy by her side to act it out with.
