In the 19th century, when the economy and society raised, in a village not far from the London, mysterious disappearances happen. The people are afraid for their family and the luck of their village called for help. A young detective by the age of 26 but capable and serious with his job arrives at the small village where the big mystery waits for him.

A cursed house and a legend of a lord that still haunt the villagers. Will the detective be able to sovle the mystery of the disappearances? Will he be able to stop them? Who is behind the mysterious disappearances?

After two weeks in Spain and Italy, you and your friend were going to finish off your trip to Europe with a visit in rural France before heading back home. In order to get to the town you were going to be staying in, you had to cut through a forest that's supposedly cursed by a witch. As misfortune would have it, your way out of the forest was blocked by a tree. It was then a servant at a nearby estate offered refuge for the meantime, stating that the master was more than happy to offer his home to anyone in need. However, there's something sinister that is haunting the two of you and will stop at nothing to get what it wants.

The gods In heaven would answer to these prayers, though in some cases they may not be answered as quickly as people would hope. Times change and so do people. The beliefs of the gods still hold strong, but nowadays many pray for mostly protection as ghouls, zombies, and fierce spirits continue to roam in the mortal realm. The hard work now falls into the hands of cultivators and their sects. Now offerings are given to gods for protection more than anything. However, in a single night many temples and shrines have come to burn to the ground and left behind would be dark flames of resentful energy. This evil being is corrupted with hatred and has reached devastation like levels. Maybe even beyond that. With their strengths lowering, the gods must seek help from the Yiling Patriarch and his companions. The final verdict was made and then I was dragged along the way by merciless villagers who had previously been my friends and my neighbours... for a long time. They all seemed to enjoy the drama judging by the way they were voluntarily taking turns to pull my bruised body nonstop towards the darkpit. The darkpit was a sealed vent through which offenders were thrown to fall along a deep slippery vertical tunnel into the underworld. ..........................................................
