It's been a few years after the fire in Viridian Forest. Nobody managed to find the cause of it, and many Pokemon were said to have perished. People have found the exact spot where the fire occurred, and it's now little more than a pile of ashes. That location used to be the most lush and lively part of the forest, and now it gives bad vibes whenever anyone goes near it. A place that humans didn't, and still don't know about, a place with magic so strong, people can't even see that they're walking through the ruins of a once powerful village, a village that was home to many powerful and ethereal Pokemon, not gone, in the blink of an eye. But our story isn't about this village, nor is it about the Pokemon rebuilding it. It's about the priestess who left that village, and the Pokemon that destroyed it.

Synopsis: A future where time has completely stopped, everything is drained of life and colour and there was never a hero to prevent such a catastrophe from occurring in the first place. It truly was a world trapped in darkness. Pokémon have been easily corrupted by said darkness and it seems there is very little hope. But then again, hope is something that is very hard to kill. A certain, young Treecko, along with their found family simply look to survive in this dreary world. But Treecko has a much bigger dream. What if...the state of the world could be reversed? What if the sun shined again? What if the wind blew again? What if they could create a brighter future for those in the past? With the help of a wounded Duskull, his adoptive mother Espeon and his fellow family members of a timid Froakie, a Braixen cursed into silence, a former outlaw Midnight Lycanroc & a mask wearing Zoroark, he looks to seek out the mythical "Celebi", who may provide a route to make his dream a reality. But of course, the dark forces will seek to snuff out any potential light at the end of the tunnel. Dialga, now gone primal, seeks his own self preservation, even if it includes commanding a Pokémon suffering through grief to do his bidding. Learn of the story of the Pokémon of the future, of the Treecko who would partner with a human to change history, of how friends would turn into enemies and how things played out from their perspective. The plot of this fic is loosely based on the ROM Hack "Special Episode 0: In A Dark Past", with changes to the tone being somewhat less dark and alternative characters in different roles. She's eager to get things done quickly, but Flame was there to offer his guidance and protection. Flame is a mysterious stranger who happened to come out of nowhere, but the two felt instantly comfortable in front of one another as soon as they met. There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered. There are important key elements to discovering a new meaning to what happened to them in their childhood. Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. It's dangerous to leave fire going while leaving camp. But some people just don't care, why come camp out in the woods in the first place? Whatever the answer is, I hope you're happy. A mystical forest is said to hold spirits of the ancient animals that once lived there, many creatures roam the forest. Some humans wish to see said beings, though they never are able to. Said for one family who decided to try and ended up with nothing, they didn't think about putting out their campfire. A young fox happened to roam where they had just left, seeing the red and orange flames dance in the blackened wood. It got closer and closer, not knowing the dangers. A simple pop and the poor baby fox's fur was set to flames, or ran frantically to get them to go away, but its efforts weren't enough, it simply burned to death, turning into ashes. It's soup now roams the forest, its body made entirely of flames, see as its journey takes him much farther than anticipated. What will come of this young fox? Will it accept its knew life or become impure like the Unrien, darkened souls that leak dangers during the night.Complete
