It's been a few years after the fire in Viridian Forest. Nobody managed to find the cause of it, and many Pokemon were said to have perished. People have found the exact spot where the fire occurred, and it's now little more than a pile of ashes. That location used to be the most lush and lively part of the forest, and now it gives bad vibes whenever anyone goes near it. A place that humans didn't, and still don't know about, a place with magic so strong, people can't even see that they're walking through the ruins of a once powerful village, a village that was home to many powerful and ethereal Pokemon, not gone, in the blink of an eye. But our story isn't about this village, nor is it about the Pokemon rebuilding it. It's about the priestess who left that village, and the Pokemon that destroyed it.

After his loss in Unova Ash returns home to regroup and plan which region he will go to next. However while planning his next region, tragedy strikes and his mother dies. to his knowledge he has no other family until one day a familiar visitor arrives offering him a home and revealing a family secret lost for generations. Ash takes this offer and trains his Pokemon for 2 years. Now he is ready to journey out again, this time to Kalos. What will he find in Kalos, will he finally be able to achieve his dreams? And will he find something or someone that he didn't know he was missing when he finds a certain honey blonde. This is rated mature, however there won't be any lemons here but perhaps other some mature topics might get put in here. This will be my first ever attempt at writing so please forgive me and please leave your criticism. if this goes well I might actually write something else. For the most part this will be based off of the cannon, however this will be for the most part an original story. So please enjoy. Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo.
