"Is it so bad to want to exist again?" 18 year old Noah Bradley's life changed during one stormy day. Who knew a single rock could change the entire course of someone's life...or even end it? "You're dead?" She whispered, her shaking hand going up to caress his arm. Instead, it fell right through him. "I wish I was. But I'm stuck like this. Invisible." He replied. Being invisible has its perks but after a while, Noah realizes he's stuck like this forever. And only one girl can see him and ultimately release him. "You are the forgotten one. We are the forgotten. The only way to fix you, is to remember you." She cried, sinking to the floor and curling into a ball.

I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory. She steps closer, her voice trembling, but the edge of anger sharpening her words. "Or when? Or where? Or for what reason? Or what it even means?!" I flinch at her tone, but I can't answer her. I try. God, I try.. I look down at the sand beneath my feet, forcing myself to dig through every memory, every hazy night out, every stupid decision I might've made-but nothing. Not a single moment of how I got it surfaced. I let out a frustrated breath and rake a hand through my hair, feeling the panic rise like bile in my throat. When I finally lift my head to speak, Ashley's already staring at me, and I can tell-she knows my answer before I say a word. "You don't remember," she says softly, nodding like she expected it all along. __________________________________________ Crazy thing happened...Three years ago, a tragic accident left Ashley scarred and shattered.
