The story takes place in the year 2115. Oil reserves nearly ran out in the year 2053, causing World War III, which was a devastating 5 year nuclear war, destroying much of the world we call home. Countries and cities like China and New York were blown clean off the map leaving radio active waste in its place. Governments were destroyed and humanity was left to build its self back up. Scientists have developed technology in which slower vehicles can be powered by plant waste. Solar, wind, and hydra technology has been further developed although nothing works the same.
