For Oliver life is hell. Her parents are worthless pieces of crap. Her mom hates her, her dad's a drunk, and her boyfriend, Sam, won't let her leave him. After a long walk with Sam at three in the morning things start to get scary as he starts trying to kill her in a back alley. She gets away and runs all the way home. All she knows is that Sam's chasing her and her dad always kept a revolver in the kitchen drawer. After killing her boyfriend she'll go to jail, so she runs for it. She doesn't know where she's going, she just knows she has to get out of the state of Indiana, and the only way to do that is if she hitchhikes. What will she do to get out of this mess? And what will happen if she starts falling for a the guy she hitchhikes with?
