Liam is a native New Yorker. He's 14 and lives with his mom and dad. He's usually very open with his parents, but except for one thing. His family is very religious, to the extent of them promoting anti-gay speech. The one problem is that Liam's gay. One day, he decides that he's ready to face the future. He comes out to his parents. In response, they send him away to California to go to a supposed conversion camp. While there Liam meets someone, someone... special.
