Through the Looking-Glass

After Cookie flees Hakeem's almost-wedding, she goes home and drowns her sorrows and frustrations in one too many glasses of red wine, falls asleep, and wakes up the following morning in a world that should not exist -- the life she spent years longing for, the one she missed out on.

Clueless as to how she got there, she encounters an unexpected guide who helps her make sense of and navigate the world she finds herself in.
