"This isn't happening"I whispered as I stared at the pregnancy test, maybe I read it wrong. I grab my purse off the floor and grab the second test and take it, DAMN positive again. I hear footsteps approaching and there's a knock on the door,"Who is it? "Its Mom " "Hold Up a second MIRANDA !" I yelled to my STEPMOTHER but before I could toss the tests in the trash can I heard a click and the door swung open . "I said hold on " She looked at me, pushed me out of and walked to the medicine counter,and pulled out some medicine it was then she noticed the pregnancy tests sitting on the counter she whispered "I knew it" she looked at me she had turned pale, she backed out of the bathroom , the door bell was ringing she quickly ran down stairs. I made my way to the kitchen as usual and opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. My mom was usually in here,preparing a snack for my brother and I but today she wasn't. "Let me leave" I growl trying again but he does it again, I quickly step the other side successfully getting round him. I was then suddenly grabbed and turned instantly, he pressing me hard against the door. "I dont find you broken nor disgusting" he growls, eyes flashing again before something seemed to flash in his eyes, a darker Oscar arrived and I was completely down for. "does this-" He suddenly grabs my hips and pulls them flash against his, pushing his front forward slightly. Something hard poked me, causing my face to redden. I gasp instantly when i feel him throb slightly, twitching as if he knew I was there. I felt him lean closer, his hot deep breaths in my ear causing me to close my eyes "does it feel like you do nothing for me?" He growls. His voice and actions cause a throbbing of my own to occur. He pulls back so we were looking into each other eyes "your far from a child iris and there's not a single day I've looked at you that way" his voice only seems to deepen. I felt a wetness build in my panties causing me to blush harder, his hands suddenly comes up and cups my face and I knew I was screwed.

"I guess it's a good thing that I'm a fighter." His eyebrows draw closer together. I wanted to say something to easy his concern, but words lodge in my throat, causing me to sputter. It feels like I'm choking. Desperately trying to catch my breath. "Autumn? Autumn!" I try to say his name among my coughing fits, but blackness grabs me with its cold merciless hands before I can get a word out... All of the thugs layed on the floor unconcious. I did it! The hostages stood there, staring at me in shock. News helicopters flew around the building. I walked to the shattered window I entered. The cops were below, just entering the building to rescue the hostages. "Thank you" I heard one of the hostages say. I turned around to see an older woman. "What is your name?" she asked. I couldn't tell her my real name. I was just an 18 year old girl trying to finish high school. I never expected any of this. I knew that the powers I had were a blessing. A blessing that needed to be protected. I looked to see her waiting for my response. I said the first name that came to my mind. "My name is Atomic Woman " I dove out the ten story building before she could say anything. Just like that, a hero was born.
