Loyalty and Calamity

In an instant, Avril Bernadette's life as a princess was taken from her. At the hands of magicians, her family was destroyed and allies were subdued like a smothered flame. Even still, she is not alone.
One kind soul remains, trapped within the body and demeanor of a monster. Despite the danger, Avril is determined to stay by its side. She will reach out to it.
She will touch it. And perhaps, one day, she will bring it back.
