CT lives a monotonous clone life. Everyday she sees the same people, eats the same food, and does her job. Her dull life is mixed with many other dull clone lives in the clone colony. The shadow overcast by the vibrant First, or non-clone, colony covers the clones and makes them appear even more boring than they already are. A clones sole purpose is to be an organ donor for their First. Why let them see the greatness in life when it could be taken away from them at any minute?

Stez is a normal First boy. He grows up in a family of wealth and always gets what he wants. The only problem is he sees right through the First fake society. He examines their rich life style and he doesn't buy into it. He understands how plastic and materialistic his world is and he is sick of it. He is discomforted by the First "always comfortable" lifestyle.

This all changes with a single flame.

Your writing as an author is quite excellent! The plot itself was exciting, and the pacing made the story quite digestible. This is definitely a great and quality YA read. It reminded me of the book Pretties By Scott Westerfield in some parts. I'm glad I discovered this book out of the pile of so many reads. Hooked me from chapter 1. Can't wait for book 2!" ☆ JustAWinkleStar "Such a great book, can't compare to the cliché books on Wattpad " ☆ LavieBlessed "This was such a great, well-written book! The War In His Mind

44 parts Complete Mature

After war devastated the United States, a survivor buried himself deep underground in a cryostasis chamber connected to a digital world- Wonder City. Dedicated to creating a perfect society, Thomas O'Neil transported his consciousness to the city and dedicated his life to creating a better world. But there's a major catch- everyone in the world is an exact clone of him without any emotions, passions, or original thoughts. Everyone is created through "The Code", a computer code designed to create people and assign jobs. For years it's worked flawlessly, filling Wonder City full of workers and civilians. The society was successful. Until one day when a glitch in the code created the first clone with emotions and thoughts- #937. Angry and determined to have free will, 937 sets out on a path to create a better world from the ashes of the old empire. What happens when the city of the future becomes a world that O'Neil can't contain? Welcome to Wonder City. Welcome to the future. **** Please keep in mind that this is a first draft. Many details, paragraphs, and chapters will inevitably change between this and the final version. There's still lots to be smoothed out. Thank you for understanding! I'm very open to suggestions! -Andrew Purdum
