Dominic was certain that he had his entire life sorted out. He was set to marry his beautiful fiancee in just a matter of days; he was the CEO of Diesel, and lived with his fiancee in a lavish penthouse within an apartment building in the heart of Los Angeles, the City of Angels. He and Mary, his soon-to-be wife, visited his family back in Salerno, Italy to finish the details for the exquisite wedding that would be hosted right at Dominique's family's country home, and also to enjoy their last few days together as individuals before starting on a journey of a lifetime as a united pair.

In the wake of his parent's tragic demise, a usually zestful Dominic Gray finds himself consumed by grief, spending a majority of his time in the solemn expanse of their resting place. It is here amidst the row of memorials, that fate leads him to cross paths with two strangers each drawn to this sanctuary of memory for reasons unknown to him. As their connections deepen, secrets veiled in the echoes of the past emerge, weaving an intricate web that binds them together in unfathomable ways. For Dominic, this signals the genesis of an unsettling chapter, one whose conclusion rests solely in his hands. *Entry for the Open Novella Contest 2024* Warning ⚠️: This book contain themes disturbing to some readers.
