The Missing Links (Inanimate Insanity Story)

After Nickel and Balloon's elimination from Inanimate Insanity II, Baseball and Suitcase found themselves alone in a world of people they don't talk to, only wanting to see their best friends again. Both being stuck in this fate, their paths end up colliding with each other once more, and they have to talk to each other to keep themselves from a deep depression. However, as they try to cope with their feelings of angst and loss, they spiral downwards in their mental state, and desperately need their old friends back... or they may not have the will to live on. Read along as all this occurs, and Nickel and Balloon suffer the same fate with each other.

(Inanimate Insanity and all characters are owned by Adam Katz and the Inanimate Insanity team. I own nothing here except the story. Please keep in mind that this is my first Inanimate Insanity story, so this won't be perfect or anything, but I'm trying my hardest.

This story does not take place in the normal Inanimate Insanity world. The objects act more like humans, and take pain and death like normal humans do. They can't be revived if they die, for example.)
