The backstreet way kids are a collection of care kids, on the run
Jordan, Liam, Kalen, Ben, Isabella, Merity, Nick, Josh, Plasma, Jenny and Jarlene were once normal care kids, until mysterious rebellious Poppy joined them in their south London care home after being kicked out of her own home, taking a shine to Jordan 15 year old Poppy wasn’t settling into care kid life very well.
But when 15 year old Liam accidentally sets their house on fire killing their care worker Michelle the care kids are almost positive they’ll be charged for it, especially as it happened after Meristy threw a party she wasn’t allowed to, and Liam was drinking, there’s evidence pointing at all of them, and many illegal things happened that night
So they go on the run travelling across the UK, sleeping on streets and at festivals in tents and caravans trying to pave up a new life, with a new name and town each week, the backsteet way kids are in trouble, deep deep trouble.
