There are four divisions of people in this world. There are the good demons called 'Skye', there are the evil corrupted demons called 'Fallen', and then there are those who choose not to be aligned with either side called 'drifters', and lastly humans. Demon hunter Nicolas works for the 'Skye' division killing and hunting 'Fallen'. It's an ancient rule thats never been broken that someone from 'Skye' could never be with someone from 'Fallen' and Nicolas broke that rule. So Nick must go on the run when he finds out the wife of the king of the 'Fallen' is pregnant with his baby.
