SpateClan has lived in isolation for many moons. Not even the oldest elder can recall a time when there was another cat. Only the exception of a lost loner.

Now, the sightings of a tuft of fur or the scent of a lone cat is growing tremendously.

So let's go back a little. Hornetpaw and Cloverpaw, fresh out of the nursery, are thrown into the forest on one of these dreadful border patrols. Separated from their group, they learn a terrible secret about this group.

And that Hornetpaw is destined to be with them.
