Only one thing can be said now. God had abandoned us. Believe whatever you want. Christian, Hinduism, Judaism, Atheism, whatever. Humanity was left on the brink. Everyone's ideals had left them hopelessly naked under a bridge left to their own vices. Whether science, or some deadbeat thing, or things, in the sky. We were all left barren. 

Almost 10 millenium ago humanity got the cruel reminder that we were, in fact, human. Weak, pathetic humans.

Approximately 97% of the population had regained their sanity and abandoned their gods, but the few 3% had decided that this was, in fact, the apocalypse had come. The faction, the Ephesians, ran to the wilderness so they could be taken up to heaven like the great Babylon. 

But that day never came.  Over the generations people stopped believing in a god. All but this one little group, and that's were out story will truly begin, soon. Unfortunately in this story I'm not the hero. I'm the villain. This is a story of regrets and a hope of redemption. This isn't my story.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. 7 Criminals around Russia, Korea, and Japan were all sent to a certain jail in America, "The Unwanted", for having unique diseases that have never been heard of before. Instead of being sent to death, each day they're experimented on by the doctors of the prison. This is to find the demanding cure of the diseases that everyone has been wanting, more specifically the News and social media, to know. An example of the experiments would be the doctors injecting different "vaccines" into the sickened's skin, to see if it helps them or defects them. They get the results back once they draw blood from the tested, diseased subject. They're trapped in cells most of the day after their testing, meaning they're rarely ever out of the cells after being "experimented" on. If they were to disobey this law, then they would be sent to the electric chair. They wouldn't send enough bolts to their heads to kill them though, they just severely damage their health and the way they mentally function. Unfortunately, their memories were whipped out, by the nurses, to the extent of their crimes and people they knew before prison. This leaves the diseased to try and find out why they're there and who they knew before this. Of course, the Nurses don't want this because after the sickened kids committed their crimes, they wanted to commit suicide for an unknown reason. They, the doctors and police, need them alive to find the cure and reason for their diseases to avoid them from spreading or occurring again. Will they be cured or is this thing a whole scheme just to torture some murderers? Who will die or eventually snap? Will the criminals ever find out who they truly were or who they knew? Welcome to a world of blood and gore, with demons and vampires and angels galore... The flu had always been a penetrable foe in the past, but the latest strain came from somewhere else. It wiped out 99% of the world's human population, leaving the remaining 1% to either drown in misery or find new hope in narcissism. Twenty years later, Elijah falls into the latter category. Having discovered that he, and only he, has the ability to draw demons out of the Possessed, he decides that he must have been chosen to lead the 'new world.' However, his attempts to bring the 'chosen few' under his wing do not go as well as he hopes. Lindsey, on the other hand, falls into a category of his own. As a vampire, death is no stranger, but given the lack of newly deads to choose from after the post-Flu population drop, avoiding starvation has become a struggle. He survives by sleeping through his days, but the arrival of a past enemy and a less-than-wise decision to help a murderer force him back onto the road. Unfortunately, he quickly discovers that the new world does not follow the same logic that it did before. TL;DR - Most of the world died from a flu pandemic so there's a post-apocalyptic type situation where demons possess people.

They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world?? Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

BOOK 2 After chaos destroyed, America fell into pandemonium and there was no communication with the U.S. After a pandemic crisis on the East coast, most civilization was abandoned near the Atlantic Ocean. After that, the world slowly began to fall to pieces and almost every country made a scramble to figure a way to make space travel easier so they could colonize a planet. But a new leader came out of the ashes and proclaimed they would consider the apocalypse a "rebirth" and proceeded (with his advanced engineering) to clear radioactivity from America and make it livable again. With the help of his crew, he builds a high security city and begins to build out past the east coast. Shortly after he rebuilds NY, he disappears and his advisor rises to power. He is a fair but cruel master (calling himself a Lord) and some people refuse to work for him. These people manage to escape the oppression of the Lord and live out on the wasteland that was once a great country. Some band together to make right communities and others rough it out by themselves, scavenging for a living.

This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards.
