Miss Kaylan Riche is a particularly strange for a girl her age. She doesn't really fit in any kind of cliche. She reads mostly mysteries and science fiction, only eats her food if it's separated, and thick, rimmed glasses block half her face. Since she can't fit in anywhere, she is the school's favorite loser, but things start to change when she discovers a series of notes written by a mysterious figure and uncovers his surprising history with the school.
