Eighty-five miles away from home is a long way. Eighty-five miles away from home is something Arden Roberts never wanted. Nottingham was great. Good school. Good friends. Good family. But things happen and obstacles are thrown at you like grenades and the only way out sometimes is the hardest choice you have to make. With a sister obsessed with rocks and a mother taken over by modern art; Arden feels out of place with her scratched and battered guitar and average singing voice. But can she make this new place her home? {SET IN 1989- WON'T PLAY EXACTLY TO THE REAL TIMELINE OR BE TOTALLY FACTUAL} (A/N: There will be strong language (DUH IT'S LIAM GALLAGHER) in this book and maybe some touchy themes, but there'll be warnings.) Let It Be

Alison Baker is used to moving around because of her dad's job. In 1987 the family move to Manchester in her final year of school. It's not easy being the new girl in town especially when you have a "posh" accent and live on the fancy new estate bordering the council houses. Alison has no idea that by the end of the year, thanks to one rebellious tearaway named Liam Gallagher, she'll never want to leave again. They get the same bus every day to take them to two very different schools. But one day on one particular bus ride their lives change forever. A deal is made. A pact that will draw two people, whose paths ordinarily should never have crossed, closer together. It will cause them to unwittingly weave in and out of each other's lives over the next 10 years.
