"Say hello to the neighbor, otherwise he'll think you're cubbish. Go to bed at a decent hour so you can wake up on time and get your hair ready for school. Work hard on your cooking and knitting classes, they are essential to get a good husband. Don't take off your shoes! Thank God you can pay for them! Be silent while you eat. Wear dark tights for the night and light tights for the day. A tie says everything you need to know about a man: no tie, no talk."

This is my lovely mother's opinion...and pretty much everyone's opinion. We live in a society in which women've got no place except for the house and, of course, bed. But maybe, just maybe, I'm not planning to fullfil those expectations.

"Mimosa flower is a symbol of femininity and womanhood, as well as motherhood and caring for others." Change comes in all levels, capacities, and for all reasons. The world is constantly changing to meet the growing needs for society. This collection of short stories is written for the women of this world. The young and the old. The ones are just born into the world and have no idea what is going to happen. To the ones who are of elderly age and have experienced everything that was meant for them. The ones who have had their hearts broken by women and men, friendships built and broken, and the ones who remain to themselves because it is safer that way. There is refuge in these stories. These words sing of the stories of the women around the world who are silent and trying to conform to the needs of society. The words light the loneliness that women face while moving through the different spaces of the world. If you have the chance to find a safe place within the pages of this collection, find peace in knowing that this was meant for you during this time and during this journey you are on. While you may remain quiet and reserved through your struggles, know there are women who will be thunderous for you. Women who you have never met who will remain by your side because they have walked in your shoes. The following collection of stories details the different struggles that women during this world do face. Each story is written to illuminate different desperations within a woman's life. The silent struggles of women who are going against the odds of the world and of themselves. Who needs a sanctuary within words. These stories are for you. This is your subtle reminder that you can be whoever you want to be in this world. You can either choose to sit and be still or rise up to the occasion of who you truly are. There is no relation between the women within the collection. In fact, their stories are theirs alone.

Man Enough: Navigating Life, Love, and the Challenges of Modern Masculinity By David James What does it mean to be a man today? For generations, men were expected to be the strong, silent type-the provider, the protector, the one who always had it together. But times have changed, and so have the pressures and expectations placed on men. Today, masculinity is evolving, and many men find themselves struggling to balance traditional roles with modern realities. How do you thrive in relationships, navigate work pressures, build meaningful friendships, manage mental health, and redefine success-without losing your sense of self? Man Enough is the no-BS, straight-talking guide for the modern man. Packed with honest insights, practical advice, and a healthy dose of humour, this book tackles the big questions men face: ✔ Why is it so hard to talk about your struggles-and how do you start? ✔ How do you maintain strong relationships (without feeling like you're failing at them)? ✔ Why do friendships fade as you get older-and how do you rebuild them? ✔ What's the key to being a great dad without losing yourself in the stress of it all? ✔ How do you handle work stress, financial pressure, and the fear of failure? ✔ How do you stay confident without falling into toxic masculinity traps? With powerful quotes from high-profile men, real-life experiences, women's perspectives, and an action plan for self-improvement, Man Enough isn't about man-bashing or telling you to "just man up." It's about embracing strength, vulnerability, resilience, and authenticity-because being a man today isn't about proving yourself to others. It's about being man enough to be yourself. Perfect for: 📖 Men who want to navigate life with confidence, humour, and purpose. 📖 Women who want insight into the challenges men face today. 📖 Anyone looking for a fresh, realistic take on modern masculinity. It's time to redefine strength. Are you Man Enough?

I put on the uniform and damn, I looked good. I found an easy band-aid and wrapped it over my chest, which made it smaller. My hair was in a tight bun, I pulled the collar a bit higher and exhaled. I'm going to a freaking war now. The shoes didn't fit right, but I'll find some in Washington's room. ~ - 'Time' is a short word with a big meaning. It may be impossible in this reality but there are more than one and somewhere in this big ass universe.. well, there is a chance. So you should take it! - A Y/N story without Y/N. Anyway, if you don't like it don't read it.
