Isabelle dan Isobelle kembar seiras yang yang dijaga oleh nenek mereka setelah kedua ibu bapa mereka meninggal dunia.

Bapa mereka membuat perjanjian untuk menjodohkan salah seorang daripada mereka dengan anak lelaki seorang rakan karibnya semasa berkhidmat sebagai tentera. 

Leon menunaikan janji ibubapanya namun dia tersilap mengahwini Isabelle yang hanya mahukan harta kekayaannya. Isabelle merayu dan mengugut neneknya supaya dia dikahwinkan dengan Leon tanpa pengetahuan sesiapa.
