Amber Wolf wasn't meant to be here in the first place. Living with her sister in a house in middle of the woods should've been the only thing she should be worried about. She was wrong about it all.    
                                                                          
Everything from the day she sat on that bus had been strange, from the necklace her mother gave to the weird writings in her sisters book, it would all make sense in the end. For the worst.

"She was infected, she could have killed the girls with the virus she had in her" The masked man said, as he went out of the house, slamming the door behind him.

I saw my mom leaning against the chair with no movement. I looked at this scene shocked, wanting to go and kill that man by shooting him with my gun, but I knew I could do nothing. I stood there watching, and feeling helpless and not knowing what to do.

I looked outside and saw that the bus had already left, with my younger self in it. Then I saw the masked man with two other people and he was talking to them about something, I went closer and eavesdropped. What I heard was beyond my imagination."

This is the story of a young woman named Amber, she is caught in the mist of a terrifying viral infection sweeping across America. As the government tried to fight the infection they kept most of the US cities in the dark about what was going on, left unprepared most of those cities left in the dark fell to the outbreak that unleashed a devastating zombie horde on city upon city... How will she survive?

**this book is completed!!** This is a story about werewolves with some witches and vampires thrown in. -Preview- I opened my eyes to see a woman standing in front of me. I don't know who this woman is or what's wrong. She has beautiful silver hair that's matted with leaves and sticks. Her face though beautiful is distraught, her face is a very creamy pale color. Her lips are as red as blood. She has tears running down her face and a bruise just below her left eye. She's holding my necklace. The moonlight shines on the single engraved word "Noel". "Take this." She says, "Noel! Take this and run. Put it around your neck and never, NEVER take it off. It will keep you safe." The woman hears something and turns around to look, then looks back at me with panic and sorrow in her eyes. I hear a male voice behind her mumbling something, I can't make out what he's saying. I can't make out the man's face as he walks up behind the woman and squeezes her shoulders. He takes the necklace wincing and slips it over my head. They're talking to me but I can't hear what they're saying. I only see the panic in their face. "Noel! RUN." I hear screams and growls as I'm running as fast as I can. I make it out of the woods and onto a street. I hear the woman's blood curdling scream before I'm blinded by a light and everything fades to darkness.

"Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

Her mother was not new to that world, although she was not a wolf herself she had many friends that are. She knew there was a pack not too far away from her. She would send her daughter there for training. But what will happen when Amber finds more than she bargained for? The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. Idiots.

After Amber's father left her and her mother, Amber's mother has been different and is bitter about anything remotely close to her ex-husband. She hopes this move will change that. The small town seems to grow on her mother and herself. Just getting comfortable in their new place, Amber's mother brings home her work partner, who suddenly throws Amber into a world she never stopped to look at. Amber is grouped with two girls who may be what she needs in order to control her power and find her father again, or she could be just what they need in order to overthrow a higher power.
