A tradition is coming to an end...

Avery Winters, Taylor Fields, and Sara Hunter have spent the first week of summer in Avalon, New Jersey celebrating their infamous beach week tradition since they were seventeen.

But this summer is sure to be different..

With college graduation behind them, the girls are sure this will be the last time they return to Avalon on a yearly basis. So they plan on ending their tradition with a bang. Parties, relaxing trips to the beach, and being surrounded by the friends they've grown up with.

Lost in the excitement and bittersweet sadness of their final beach week together, the three friends never saw what was coming...

A killer is on the lose, and he's after them. Each feels a presence lurking in the shadows, watching and waiting for the prefect time to strike, but brush it off. As the killer waits, each girl gets unsuspectingly closer to him, allowing him to take them one by one.

With one person already dead, can they make it out alive?

Amanda Fulwood has always felt out of place. Since she can remember, she was never capable of distinguishing the real from the fake, her mind constantly questioning whether she lived what she remembered or if it was just an outstanding dream. There's always this voice in her head, this coldness so sudden whenever she comes back to it. As bone-chilling as the air in a morgue, the feeling never fails to keep her up at night. It only got worse over the years, her visions turning more and more vivid, constantly wandering further away from this realm every time. Living in a small town has its perks, especially when you're the mayor's daughter, but it also comes with a handful of disadvantages. Her reputation as the local nut-job precedes her, and when she's found naked on the school football field, it only furthers their assumptions. Once caged and once freed, Amanda still struggles with the reality she is to face, one where just maybe, she really is insane. Or maybe, her mind is the keeper of something darker, sinister even. For the small town of Milton Oaks, crime is a non existent hassle. So when Amanda's memories seem to correlate with the events of the darkest nights in town history, she's left with a mystery on her hands. One that holds all the explanations she craved, for all the years plagued by those thoughts. But going down that route is a path of no return. Once Pandora's box has been opened, there's no closing it back. Among all the questions Amanda has, the only one that is hers to answer is, "Can she handle it?" Read the book and find out😉

**"The sun beats down on the warm sand as Sienna, an artistic and kind-hearted girl, finds herself drawn to the beach every day, sketching the beauty of the waves that never seem to stop coming. She didn't expect to meet someone like Liam, a free-spirited surfer whose carefree attitude and love for the ocean mirrors her own yearning for something more than the everyday. Their connection is instant, a spark that lights up the long summer days. But as the days drift by, the reality of their summer fling begins to settle in. Liam is everything she's dreamed of in the moment-wild, adventurous, and impossibly charming-but Sienna knows the summer will end, and with it, the inevitable goodbye. The beach, with all its beauty, becomes a symbol of the fleeting nature of their love. As the days grow hotter, so do the tensions. Noah, Liam's best friend, begins to show an interest in Sienna that neither she nor Liam expected, leading to an unspoken rivalry that threatens the bond they've only just started to build. Meanwhile, Chloe, Liam's ex, reappears, and with her return come rumors and complications that stir doubt in Sienna's heart. Ava, Sienna's protective best friend, warns her that summer loves are rarely meant to last, but Sienna can't ignore the pull between her and Liam. The deeper they fall into their shared moments-surfing, laughing, stealing kisses in the sand-the more they realize how much they mean to each other. But can something this intense survive the inevitable end of summer, or will the drama and the complexity of their emotions be too much to hold on to? With every wave, every sunset, every stolen moment, they are left wondering: will their love survive when the season changes, or will they be swept away by the tide of summer's inevitable end?"**

"You don't really like to open up, do you?" The words startle me, seemingly jagged and impure in contrast to the light and beautiful atmosphere we were in. "I didn't say that." Asher snorted, "You didn't have to." I was quiet for a moment, looking out to the beach and resting my cheek on my knee. "It- It's not that I don't like to," I struggled to find the words good enough to explain. "I just think, maybe, I don't know how to anymore." Asher stares at me for a moment, eyes filled with an emotion that I can't put my finger on. I turn to face him properly, almost gasping when he appears much closer than I remembered. Before I can turn the moment into a joke, he speaks. "Well, if you ever want to learn again, I'll always be right here, Willa. I'm always right here." * Willa Montgomery didn't expect to be uprooted for her last summer before college, but two weeks in, here she is: Santa Monica, California. Willa hasn't had the best life as of recent, and with the impending damage of her parents messy divorce getting harder and harder to avoid, her mom decides the best place for her to be is anywhere but home. Enter Sylvia Edwards, Willa's mother's best friend since middle school, and Willa's godmother. Sylvia is more than glad to host Willa for the entire summer, opening up her beautiful home to her immediately. And with that beautiful home comes the beautiful Asher Edwards, and a whole bunch of memories Willa wasn't even aware she had. Living in a house with Asher, the sweetest yet most persistent guy to exist is both heartwarming and dangerous all at once, because soon enough, the barriers Willa spent years building around her fragile heart are coming down- and fast. Willa had never realized how frozen she was until Asher started to melt her ice. With eyes like oceans, a smile like honey and a touch like heaven. cover by @stylesoftimothee
