After being killed by Undyne, Frisk has to reset again. Though, it somehow sets everything to chaos! Chara is free, Flowey is now Asriel and can switch between himself and the yellow flower as he pleases because he has full control. Toriel comes outside of the ruins and Gaster is now taking part in the masquerade! how FUN!

When they finally think they're free someone else gets involved in the nonsense.
