What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. The plot of the story revolves around Thomas, a young boy who wakes up in an underground elevator with no memory of his past, only to find himself in a mysterious place called the Glade, surrounded by towering stone walls. They're trapped by a vast and ever-changing maze that threatens their lives with deadly biomechanical creatures known as Grievers. As Thomas adapts to life in the Glade, he becomes involved in unraveling the mystery of the Maze. Along the way, he uncovers fragments of memories and clues about his past, including his connection to a girl named Teresa, who arrives mysteriously in the Glade shortly after him. Hello everyone! I read The Maze Runner Trilogy and decided to change the ending, which I disliked. The only changes are that Brenda sacrificed herself instead of Teresa, and Newt is immune. This story revolves around the Immunes' new life in Paradise. Everyone will have to face friends, challenges, significant others, and most importantly, come to terms with themselves. Everyone was taken away. All she ever wants was for them to come back to her. Her biggest dream is to stand near the ocean with everyone she loves next to her, but even when they do come back they keep trying to slip away. Summaries are so hard to write....anyways so this story is based off of the movies, considerably The Death Cure. This is also BOOK 2 so I very much recommend to read the first book before reading this one just so you understand some of the things that is being said. Just to be clear I am not British, so please forgive me for Newt's speaking lines. I didn't want to curse in this book either except for the occasional 'hell' but instead of cursing I like to put 'bloody'. I just wanted you guys to be aware of that so that you don't think I'm trying to be stereotypical. Thank you so much for reading this book, I hope you will be able to enjoy it.
