Rasia has suffered from a strange form of narcolepsy her whole life. In her dreams and daydreams, she often travels to an empty wheat field where the sky is perpetually set upon the horizon. It is her only form of escape from the torturous high school life that she is living in. Because her best friend is the star quarterback, Rasia is often alienated. She doesn't fit in with the usual athletic and popular crowd and she doesn't make the effort to try to get others to like her. She's also too frumpy for them, but she just simply doesn't care.
One day, while immersed in her little dream world, Rasia finds herself in a different place and meets a boy so achingly beautiful that Rasia cannot erase him from her mind even during her waking hours. As her dream meetings with him increase, Rasia forms a friendship with him.
But what if he wasn't just a figment of her imagination? And what does Andrew, her star quarterback friend, know about this boy?
