Cassie Jacobs has never believed in the supernatural until fate brings her family into a car crash that kills her parents and puts her and her younger sister, Violet, in critical condition. A young man named Conner follows the sounds of the crash to the scene and manages to drag the young girls out of the smashed car and to the nearest hospital. The doctors did their best, but it did nothing to help the girls. Conner decides to do the only thing that could save Cassie and Violet, bite them. Within a few days, the girls awake in full health and are told that their parents had not made it alive and that the girls were to be taken to a private school with Conner.
Once they arrived at the school, they did their best to fit in. Making a few friends, doing well in class, and bringing herself to drink blood as if it was completely normal were all on top of Cassie's list, but she never thought that she would start to fall head over toes for the guy she disliked the most. Will she stop falling for him? Who knows.
