Keira is not your average "vampire." She was made in a test tube and brought up in seclusion, separated from the real world and raised with a bunch of old farts and her best friend Max, her German Sheppard. Now all this is what she thinks, but is it really how it is?
When all hell breaks loose on the compound and two people are murdered, she flees with the help of her trusty pet, Max and a voice she hears in her head.
She spends the next two years in hiding from what, she doesn't know. All the while trying to learn to co-exist with humans. Yet what she doesn't realize is that she is not the only one of her kind, and she is about to learn that she is apart of a whole bigger picture then she realized.
Journey with Keira as she learns who she really is. As she finds out that there are others similar to her out in the world, as she learns what she is, and as she discovers what she is really supposed to do with her life.
